CymaSpeaker Working Prototype

CymaSpeaker working prototype
I had this design for some time in my mind, as you can see in a previous projects. This time I had the opportunity to make it real as a final project for one of my SCAD I.D. Master's class.
Toroidal-shaped speaker that lets you "see" sound. Using water and light, the vibrations from the music start forming interesting radial shapes that can be seen in the water thanks to the light, which in turn reflect outside.

Video of working speaker
The sound coming out of the speaker is impressively good. This project is still in development. To improve internals and outside joinery to get an even better sound and build.
